Weekly Log December 18
Yesterday, Amy and I came up with two alternate solutions. Today, we drew them on CAD. We have also met with Amanda and Elizabeth to help them go over their specifications. This will help us to complete our overall group specification list. Next week, we will have to present to Mr. Alfonse and Ms. Mcdonald all of our new information. The new solution drawings have been printed and will hopefully be added to our blogs sometime soon. I plan on scanning the drawing I have done over the weekend. Also, tonight is winter ball! :]

Structural Specifications

Weekly Log December 17
Today, I have set up my new blog. Because we have changed the way we are doing this project, it seems most logical to start fresh with a new blog, as to not confuse my old information with my new information. Yesterday, I sat down with Amy and we came up with our specifications for all of the structure and both our individual parts. We will wait until we have Amanda and Elizabeth's specifications before posting them on our blogs. Also yesterday, Amy and I came up with one alternate solution. In order to keep track of this new project, the four of us will be re-presenting our formal report of progress from the first marking period with all of our new information. This will ensure that we, as well as the instructors, are well aware of what this new project will entail. Today, I will work with Amy to think of other alternate solutions. I have also emailed the presedent of a foam buoy hull company (thanks to my mentor!) to see if they would be able to help us out with any spare parts.
